About the Nike Air Max 90 'Homegrown'

The Nike Air Max 90 'Homegrown' was designed in 2006 by the owners of sneaker boutique Patta. Through State Magazine, a Dutch website about hip hop, they could submit their designs. The most popular Nike was actually made. Therefore, it is not an official Patta collaboration, but the sale of this pair did go through the Patta shop.

The name 'Homegrown' is based on the grass-green colour of the upper. On the base of the upper is a leaf texture, which refers to the weed culture in Amsterdam. The model has orange details. The insole is made of cork and the laces have a golden lace lock.
