New Balance 550 'Hemp'

The New Balance 550 gets a new colorway. The model was revived in 2020 by NYC-based store Aime Leon Dore. Since then, the model has received several colorways and collabs and now, in 2023, the 550 silhouette gets a 'Hemp' colorway. The sneaker is set to release on June 1, 2023.

New Balance shows new images of the 550 'Hemp'. As the name suggests, the sneaker comes with a linen upper, also known as hemp. The colorway is reminiscent of the Joe Fresgoods x New Balance 550 'Conversations Amongst Us' that was released in 2022 and shares the same beige tones.

Unlike this collaboration, the 'Hemp' comes head-to-toe in linen. Suede details on the heel and center panel give the sneaker a chic twist. The well-known 550 logo appears on the nose of the sneaker. New Balance branding can be seen on the toe, heel, and on the center panel, which are set in black.
