After collaborating with New Balance, Vanson, and Porsche, the New York-based label now seems to be joining forces with The North Face. Recently, Aimé Leon Dore shared a clip teasing a possible collaboration with the outdoor brand—a perfect fit, if you ask me.
Aimé Leon Dore SS25
Aimé Leon Dore (ALD), founded by Teddy Santis—who is currently serving as Creative Director at New Balance—is known for its luxurious and timeless designs. The label was responsible for the revival of the New Balance 550 in 2020 and, in my opinion, had the best collaboration of 2024.
That collaboration was with Porsche, featuring apparel and lifestyle items. The standout piece was the leather varsity jacket with the Porsche logo on the back, which went viral. Now, Santis' vision appears to be extending to a new partnership with outdoor brand The North Face. In a video on their Instagram, ALD gives viewers a glimpse into their preparations for the upcoming season.
The video offers an exclusive look at past collaborations that have shaped Aimé Leon Dore’s identity, including its partnerships with New Balance and Porsche. We also catch a glimpse of a patchwork windbreaker from The North Face and labels featuring the co-branding of both logos—a perfect blend of function and luxury.
Later in the video, the brand showcases how Greek towns serve as a source of inspiration and how it shares this aesthetic worldwide. The caption includes the Greek phrase: “Η ΙΣΧΥΣ ΕΝ ΤΗ ΕΝΩΣΕΙ,” which translates to “Strength through unity.” If the footage is anything to go by, we can also expect another collaboration with Porsche.
It is not yet clear when we can expect the next collection from Aimé Leon Dore and The North Face. However, since the clip references Spring/Summer 2025, we can assume the collection(s) will drop this summer.
