Following on from their collab with Nike the previous year, Japanese company Atmos teamed up with Nike again in 2003 on an Air Max 1. This time entitled the Air Max 1 B 'Viotech'.
An Air Max 1 with minimal and especially subtle colourblocking. What does stand out is the gold embroidered Swoosh branding on the heel and forefoot. The Viotech colour on the Swoosh is no less striking and complements the overall look of this classic Air Max 1 design. The upper is made entirely of leather, with the exception of the mudguard, which is made of suede. The sneaker sits on a khaki coloured midsole that matches parts of the upper. The gum outsole provides a pleasant finish.
Like its predecessor, the Air Max 1 'Safari', this 'Viotech' version is a release that has been a hit with many Air Max lovers for years and is therefore also seen as one of the best Air Max releases ever. This is also a release that has not yet received a reissue. Something that many fans have been looking forward to for years.
