Air Jordan 1 High OG 'Washed Black'

Shortly after the first images of the Air Jordan 1 High OG 'Washed Black' surfaced in early 2023, Nike is now revealing the official images of this colorway. The sneaker features a retro look and combines various shades of gray. The High OG 'Washed Black' is releasing on June 10, 2023.

The Air Jordan 1 High is adding a new colorway to its lineup. Since releasing in 1985, this classic silhouette is a classic among sneaker enthousiasts Recently, the model received a 'Washed Pink' colorway, a light pink variant with a washed look. Now, the sneaker arrives in a 'Washed Black' colorway.

The sneaker combines the colors white, gray, and red. The upper exists of leather, and the suede overlays give the sneaker a sophisticated twist. The Swoosh is placed on the medial side, and the tongue features the Nike Air logo, which is prominently red.

The yellowed midsole adds a retro touch to the sneaker, and the white Wing logo you can see on the heel. The perforated toe box allows for breathability.

Several new colorways of the Peter Moore-designed icon, the Air Jordan 1, are set to drop in 2023. Recently, the first in-hand images of the Air Jordan 1 'Washed Black' have surfaced. Nike has given the popular model a Washed look. The pair is expected to release on 10 June 2023.

As the name suggests, the Air Jordan 1 'Washed Black' consists partly of faded elements. These are mainly found on the overlays, the colour of which is black weathered to dark grey.

The base and the Wings logo have been given a white neutral colour, contrasting well with the overlays. What provides further contrast is the red branding on the tongue, which stands out a lot. Finally, the midsole has been given an off-white finish, creating a vintage look.
