Although we normally see colorways pass by almost every week on different Yeezy models, 2021 has started off pretty quietly for adidas. A few colorways surfaced, but we only saw one adidas Yeezy BOOST 700 release so far. However, it looks like we can expect the V3 version of the adidas Yeezy BOOST 350 soon! According to rumors, the new silhouette will debut in a 'Covellite' colorway.
Initially, everyone expected the Yeezy 380 to be the third version of the Yeezy BOOST 350 silhouette, but this was not the case. It took quite a long time for the silhouette to come out at all, as the first rumours surfaced back in June 2020. The silhouette was supposed to release in the fall of 2020, but due to unknown reasons, this did not happen.
The 350 model of adidas Yeezy has been around for some time in the sneaker scene. The first sneaker popped up during the Yeezy fashion show in February 2015. Then we saw the first colorway, Turtle Dove, release in the summer of 2015. A year later, we already saw the successful V2 silhouette emerge and this model has since lasted the longest of all Yeezy models. The sneaker has appeared in an incredible number of colorways over the years.
adidas Yeezy BOOST 350 V3 'Covellite'
Unfortunately, no images of the silhouette or the first 'Covellite' colorway have surfaced yet. However, there are rumours that we can expect the colorway on 15 March. A retailer has this information on their website, but the colorway is currently marked as 'Yeezy 350 V2 Cream 'Covellite'. It could be a simple typo or it could mean that the mineral, covellite, has inspired more than one colorway.
All in all, it is definitely news to keep an eye on. As soon as any pictures come out, we will inform you as soon as possible. Keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers release calendar, so you won't miss any news!
