The first images of the upcoming A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 5 collaboration surfaced at the end of April 2023. The collaboration is said to come with two colorways; the 'Light Bone' and the 'Black'. Now, about three months later, close-ups of the new A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 5 'Black' appear.
A Ma Maniére and Nike have been working together very successfully for several years now. The streetwear brand from Atlanta has already released special releases and collections with Nike several times in the past, like several colorways of the Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 3 and Air Jordan 4 silhouettes. Now it's the turn of the Air Jordan 5.
The Air Jordan 5 was designed by Tinker Hatfield and features a chunky design. The A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 5 'Black' has a subtle colorway. The upper is black and made of suede. On the tongue, which by the way has a silver metallic colour, is the logo of AMM. The sole also features the brand's logo.
The Air Jordan 5 comes with the familiar mesh detail on the upper. The Nike Air logo is on the heel. The signature burgundy details appear on the midsole. The A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 5 'Black' doesn't have an official release date yet. However, we can probably expect the shoe by the end of 2023.
