The 2002R from New Balance is one of the brand's most popular sneakers. The model is inspired by the 2002 and many different colorways have now been released. Think of the 'Protection Pack', that came out in 2020. Now New Balance comes out with a hiking-friendly version of the 2002R. The 'Hiking' Pack includes three new colorways and will most likely be released in the fall of 2022.
There will be three different colorways coming out, the first pair has a brown and black base. The details on the shoe will come in a combination of green, red and navy. In this way, contrast is added. The second pair has been given a lighter colorway. The base turns beige and the details come in pastel shades such as pink and purple. The final colorway is black with purple details.
All three shoes have hiking-inspired motifs such as laces made of thick rope, hook eyes, reinforced leather toe caps and, of course, the comfortable N-ergy midsole is not to be missed. This provides optimal cushioning while hiking.
