Aimé Leon Dore (ALD) and New Balance are back with a collab that’s sure to get sneakerheads and car enthusiasts excited. Their latest project is all about a one-of-a-kind version of the New Balance 993, inspired by the iconic Porsche 993 Turbo.
The New Balance captures the essence of the Porsche 993 Turbo, with its shiny green paint reflected in the premium suede upper. Tonal cream details and bright yellow accents, like the sockliner and the 993 branding, add a playful contrast and highlight the sporty vibe of the inspiration.
On top of Teddy Santis working his magic on the sneaker, the designer’s also bringing out a custom Porsche 993 Turbo. The car blends the striking ‘Mulberry Green’ with a luxe interior of brown leather and lambswool, making it a perfect reflection of Santis’ design vision.
Lastly, there’s going to be an exclusive clothing drop as well. The collection features a range of items, from leather jackets to cosy jumpers, all with subtle co-branding. Each piece is designed with the luxury and attention to detail we’ve come to expect from both ALD and Porsche. It perfectly reflects the refined style and craftsmanship that define both brands.
Want to check out the sneaker and the Porsche up close? They’ll be on display at the ALD flagship store in London on the 22nd and 23rd of November 2024. Rumour has it the New Balance 993 will be available exclusively at the event. The clothing collection will drop on Friday, 22nd November 2024 at ALD.
