The images and stories have been around for a long time of the upcoming Nike Dunk Low 'Veneer'. This colorway we saw at first in 2001 and belonged to the 'Ugly Ducklings Pack'. Now the Nike Dunk Low SP 'Veneer' finally has a release date.
In 2001, Nike introduced the Pro B-line of Dunk Lows. This new line for the Dunks had slightly thicker laces and new materials were used on the upper. In this line there were three Dunks that were all called 'Ugly Ducklings'. Why this name? Cecause the colour scheme on the trainers was different than normal. The 'Plum' colorway from the pack already released this year and we will see the 'Veneer' colorway coming back this month.
Nike Dunk Low 'Veneer' - the details
The base of the trainer consists of brown suede combined with green suede. A dark purple colour suits the Swoosh, laces, heel and outsole of the trainer. A neon green colour in the sockliner and heel completes the upper part. Underneath the upper of the trainer is a white midsole combined with a purple outsole. By using these colours together it is not surprising that the trainer belongs to the Ugly Ducklings Pack. But that is what makes the kicks as hyped and special as they are.
The Nike Dunk Low SP 'Veneer' will be released on Tuesday 10 November at 09:00 am at Nike for €100. View the images below and keep our release calendar in order not to miss a sneaker release. We also expect the 'Ceramic' colorway this year, so heads up!
