The fact that Nike is one of the pioneers in running shoes is nothing new. Ever since the brand's inception, its focus has been on creating sport-enhancing silhouettes. Then in 2023, there appeared the Alphafly 3 - one of Nike's most innovative silhouettes of all time.
In the year the Nike Alphafly made its debut, the model had already been seen on the feet of several runners. The shoe debuted on the feet of former world record holder Eliud Kipchoge during his victory at the Berlin 2023 Marathon in September. Less than two weeks later, Sifan Hassan won the Chicago Marathon and Kelvin Kiptum set the world record, both in the Alphafly 3.
Now the silhouette appears in a 'Volt' colorway that screams speed. The upper appears in a bright yellow color with bright orange Zoom Air units in the forefoot. The upper is made of ultralight Atomknit, while the shoe's advanced propulsion is evidenced by three technologies in the midsole; ZoomX foam, Zoom Air units, and a carbon fiber Flyplate.
