Nike regularly draws inspiration from the past, and for the new Nike Air Max 1, they are once again diving into the archives. In the fall of 2024, an 'Escape' colorway will start dropping that evokes nostalgia.
This colorway takes inspiration from iconic models such as the Air Force 1 'Escape' and the popular 'Curry' colorway of the Air Max 1 from 2003 and 2018. Although there is no official link to the 'Escape' line, the new design is very reminiscent of the autumnal hues of the Air Force 1.
Taking a closer look at the Air Max 1, the design mostly resembles an updated version of the 'Curry'. A favorite among fans of the silhouette. Only now the Swoosh has been given a black color which we did not see before on the other designs. In addition, the overlays have received a makeover, with suede around the collar and leather on the mudguard.
The exact release date of the Nike Air Max 1 'Escape' is not yet known, but the drop is expected in the fall of 2024. With its brown tones, this sneaker is a good choice for fall.
