The New Balance 1906 was reintroduced in 2022 as the 1906R, which boosted the model's popularity tremendously. After the release of the 1906R, many new variants of the original design appeared. The 1906F has a canvas and leather upper, the 1906U is a 'Utility' version with a ripstop upper, and the 1906L transforms the classic silhouette into a loafer.

New Balance 1906A 'Refined Future' | M1906AD
Designed by New Balance designer Yue Wu, the 1906A, is reminiscent of the popular 2002R 'Protection Pack' from 2021. This is because the design has been given a deconstructed look, with details on the design appearing to be randomly merged.
We see certain overlays that hang like flaps. In addition, some eyestays have been created with a ribbon that then runs through the N logo. Also, the tongue label and toe are placed asymmetrically on the upper. Lastly, visible stitching can be found all over the upper, adding to the wild design.
The very first colorway to drop will feature white mesh, metallic silver overlays and grey accents.
Where to cop?
On 24 July 2024 at 10am, the very first New Balance 1906A 'Refined Future' will start dropping at New Balance and selected retailers.
