Original post January 23, 2025 - Pharrell Williams has once again impressed the world of sneakers with the unveiling of the adidas Jellyfish during Paris Fashion Week, dear community. Despite his busy schedule, the artist, designer and Creative Director of the men's collection at Louis Vuitton remains true to his collaboration with adidas, which has been in place since 2014. With the Jellyfish, he adds a new chapter to his collection of sneakers.
The adidas Jellyfish is inspired by classic retro models such as the Adistar Cushion and the Response CL. The design responds to the trend of chunky sneakers with an oversized look and eye-catching details.
The sole is reminiscent of a blown-up version of the Cushion. The upper is reinforced with three-dimensional TPU panels that have an organic, almost fish-like appearance - a nod to the name of this design.
