Winter has just officially started and Jordan already presents the Spring Line Up of 2022. In this collection, we see different models like the Air Jordan 1, the Air Jordan 3 and multiple colorways of the Air Jordan 6. In the collection you will find different Women pairs and retro colorways go hand in hand with innovation.
Spring Line Up 2022
In 2022, the Air Jordan 12 celebrates its 25th Anniversary. When thinking of the AJ 12, fans of this model will probably immediately think of the fifth game of the finals in 1997. Then, with a high fever, Michael Jordan scored a 38-7-5.
The sneaker from this "Flu Game" makes its comeback in 2022 and returns in the OG colorway. The pair debuted in Cleveland during All-Star weekend in 1997. Also in 2022, the new colorway will be released in Cleveland during the NBA All-Star Game.
The AJ 12 in the OG colorway being released in 2022 is not without reason. “We don’t want to release these OG colorways randomly,” tells Donald Kelsey, Jordan Brand Product Director, Global Retro Line. According to him, the OG pairs must have a reason or cause to be re-released. "The diehard fans can see that we care about preserving history, while new fans are invited to dig into their curiosity and explore the reasons for timing", adds Kelsey.
Women collection 2022
The ladies will also receive a number of thoughtful models in the Spring Line Up of 2022. Nike combines OG silhouettes with innovative designs. According to Nike, when designing an Air Jordan model for women, they look for different techniques and materials that fit well in a women's shoe.
The Air Jordan 4 in the new collection has a canvas upper and comes in a tie-dye print. By combining the classic models with new materials and prints, Nike tries to give the Retro's an innovative twist.
In the collection, several OG models get new colorways and classic colour schemes make their comeback. The Air Jordan 1 High OG comes in a Dark Marina Blue colorway and in a Gold/Light Bordeaux colorway. The Air Jordan 3 and 4 have received a canvas upper and the 'University Red' colorway also makes an appearance.
