Comme des Garçons PLAY and Converse have already released a lot of different Chuck 70s. We know the pairs with a half heart, with a small whole heart, with a dot pattern, in high and low variants and in a lot of different colours. This year, 2022, CDG and Converse are releasing the Chuck 70 with a red midsole.
There are four different variants in the 'Red' collection, two of which are high and two low. The high versions come in black and white. The black version has a white stripe on the heel, white stitching and a white rubber toe cap. On the outside appears the famous red heart with eyes. The white version has the same logos on the inside and outside, just the stripe on the heel is in black. On both pairs, the midsole is in red.
The low versions of the Chuck 70 also received the new red makeover. The black version, just like the high ones, has a white stripe on the heel, white stitching and a white rubber toe cap. On the outside, the red heart is visible, but the All-Star logo is missing on this version. The white version has a black stripe on the heel and a red heart on the outside.
The Comme des Garçons PLAY x Converse Chuck 70 'Red' collection will be released on Thursday March 24th on the Converse website. Until then, we can take a look at the first images below.
