British brand The Basement is once again joining forces with New Balance. The duo collaborated in the past on the 2002R silhouette. For the next collab, The Basement is giving the New Balance 1906R a makeover. The sneaker arrives in two silver colorways.
The New Balance 1906R is a wildly popular silhouette in 2024. The sneaker has been used in collaborations with names such as Aimé Leon Dore, Comme des Garçons and GANNI. Now we see the first images of a collaboration between The Basement and New Balance that also uses the 1906R model.
The duo comes with two silver colorways of the silhouette. Both copies use silver, metallic details. The upper is made of chunky mesh that gives the sneaker a sporty look. Leather overlays offer support and strength. A reinforcing element is placed on the heel.
The center panel features the N logo and the nose features The Basement logo. The lace toggle makes it easy to pull the shoe tighter. One colorway comes with a black outsole and details, while the other colorway uses white details.
