Bianca Chandôn joins hands with Vans and presents her own Vault by Vans 'Aged' collection. In this collection, the models Sk8-Hi Reissue VLT LX, Old Skool VLT LX, Authentic VLT LX and the Classic Slip-On VLT LX will get a retro makeover. All four sneakers will be released on August 20, 2022.
Bianca Chandôn was founded by Alex Olson in 2014. In his works, he combines fashion and skateboarding and hints at the counterculture of the 70s. The club culture of the 1980s and the anti-fashion of the 1990s also feature in his designs. With his love for skate culture, he brings back a bit of culture in every design.
The collection is based on the shape of stars as we see them. The star print is combined with the famous checkerboard print and gives the sneakers a unique twist. The sneakers come in red, black, white and blue. All four colorways have an 'Aged' look.
The midsole, for example, has been given an used look. The upper has also been given various 'Aged' details and has been scratched and spotted. Bianca Chandôn seems to be written on the midsole with a biro. On the tongue, the Vans logo appears. The Vans label also appears on the lace-up.
