Update April 4, 2025 – A.P.C., a streetwear brand from California, is collaborating once again with ASICS and reveals two colorways of the GEL-Kayano 14. The brand recently unveiled the first campaign images of the collaboration, showcasing nearly everything except the colorways themselves.
Now, we finally see the official images of the two colorways, 'White' and 'Navy', along with matching apparel. The collection will drop on April 5, 2025.
The ASICS GEL-Kayano 14 might be one of the most popular silhouettes right now. Originally released in the 2000s, it perfectly embraces the Y2K trend that is more relevant than ever. Now, it’s A.P.C.'s task to put its own spin on it.
The sneaker will be released in the 'White' and 'Navy' colorways. Both sneakers feature a white midsole, combined with a gum sole and co-branding on the heel and insole. A notable detail is that the A.P.C. logo on the heel has been replaced with ASICS' 'A' logo.
In addition to the sneakers, the collaboration also includes an extensive collection of clothing and accessories, which will be worn by ASICS athletes such as Alex de Minaur, Borna Coric, Lorenzo Musetti, Belinda Bencic, Harriet Dart, and Jasmine Paolini during the European tennis tournament.
Under the leadership of A.P.C. Creative Director Judith Touitou, effortlessly modern styles and understated designs, with roots in Japanese culture, are combined. Touitou about the collection:

Original post: December 2, 2024 - ASICS and the French luxury brand A.P.C. are teaming up again in 2025, this time with a fresh take on the GEL-KAYANO 14. The two brands have worked together before, blending ASICS' technical expertise with A.P.C.'s signature refined and minimalist style. This new collab looks set to deliver that same winning combination.
The sneaker sports a clean look with a white base, highlighted by metallic silver details. The upper is made from breathable mesh, which not only adds comfort but also gives the shoe a light, fresh vibe.
Silver leather overlays add a touch of luxury, while the two-tone round laces complete the design. ASICS' signature tiger stripes are still there, subtly highlighted with a metallic sheen. As always, A.P.C. keeps the branding minimal, with their logo on the insole and heel.
But it's not just about the looks. Thanks to the GEL technology in the sole, this GEL-KAYANO 14 offers incredible comfort, making it perfect for everyday wear. The gum outsole provides extra grip and adds a subtle retro touch to the design.
