In July 2021, we can expect some hip and hyped sneaker releases. Of course, Nike is always at the forefront with their SB department. This article is about the Nike SB Dunk High 'Reverse Iowa', we take a look at the kicks in detail and check all the info for you. We also take a look at the first official pictures below. Stay tuned!
Dunks, Dunks and even more Dunks
When it comes to sneakers, the year 2021 is notable for the almost weekly Nike Dunk releases. Anyone who wants a pair of the Dunk series has never had it so easy as in the recent past. This all has advantages and disadvantages, so fans of the models finally get a W more often, but the constant new models naturally let the excitement for upcoming variants flatten out a bit. Fortunately, the often special SB Dunks provide pleasant variety.
This also applies to the SB Dunk High 'Reverse Iowa', which is made of a special upper made of suede. This is particularly special: Not only parts of the upper are made of suede, but the whole shoe comes with this upper. We'll discuss more details below, but first get an impression of the sneaker yourself.

The kicks come in a contrasting colour scheme in Varsity Maize and black. The colorway is reminiscent of the Michigan colorway that was often used on Nike Dunks and Air Jordan 1 Mid. The 'Iowa colorway' was also used on an SB Dunk in 2005.
A striking feature of the new look is the clean midsole in white, which contrasts perfectly with the Varsity Maize and black. The sole is then in black again and provides a further colour contrast.
The official release date is 03 July 2021 and most of the kicks will probably be available via Raffle. Check out the usual skate shops and sign up for the open raffles. You can challenge your luck on the Nike SNKRS app at 9:00 a.m. on 3 July. We're keeping our fingers crossed!
Two laces and Zoom technology
Nike delivers two different laces with the Nike SB Dunk High 'Reverse Iowa'. The laces come in black, as you can see in the pictures, and in the Varsity Maize colour. The yellow laces would have the same colour as the tongue, while the black laces add another colour contrast. The yellow Nike SB label on the upper tongue completes the design.
They also come with an insole filled with Zoom Air technology for a comfortable fit. If you get the shoes, they will cost you €110 in retail. The resell price shouldn't be too expensive either, for all those who go out empty and really want the sneakers.
