Creative initiative The Whitaker Group (TWG) is coming together with New Balance. In 2014, Social Status, a company that is part of TWG, released the New Balance CM1600 'Winter in the Hamptons'. Now, exactly ten years later, the initiative unveils the New Balance 1906U in two colorways that will be released in 2024.
The Whitaker Group (TWG), founded by James Whitner, is an award-winning retail group comprised of A Ma Maniére, Social Status, APB, and Prosper. The A Ma Maniére and Social Status brands have partnered with New Balance, Jordan Brand, and Nike in the past. Now The Whitaker Group is joining forces with New Balance.
In an Instagram post, WTG shared, in addition to ring watches, its next collaboration with New Balance. The duo is coming in 2024 with two colorways of the 1906U, a very popular silhouette this year. The sneaker arrives in two colorways; a blue and gray variant and a beige one.
The upper is made of breathable mesh. Over the silhouette are overlays of suede, leather, and synthetic materials. Both pairs are designed for comfort and durability, with full-length N-Ergy cushioning in the midsole.
The Whitaker Group x New Balance 1906U 'Willful Bias' pack drops on July 8, 2024, at Social Status, APB, Prosper, and A Ma Maniére. Check out the official images of the sneakers below and keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers news page for updates.
