A very special release awaits us. On June 18, 2024, the Star Wars x Nunzaka x adidas pack will drop, consisting of three sneakers. The Superstar XLG, NMD_R1, and Stan Smith models will receive Star Wars-inspired colorways, featuring the drawings of artist Hiroki Tsukuda.
In 1977, nearly 50 years ago, Star Wars debuted on the screen. The first film, titled "Star Wars: A New Hope," is set in space and tells the story of Luke Skywalker who joins the Jedi. Since the film series made its debut in the late 1980s, Star Wars has become a true cult classic with a large fan base.
This fan base can now look forward to a pack in collaboration with adidas, consisting of three sneakers. In collaboration with art collective Nunzaka, the adidas Superstar XLG 'Cloud White', Stan Smith 'Stormtrooper', and NMD_R1 'Darth Vader' are being released.
The sneakers pay tribute to beloved characters from the series, as the names suggest. The Stan Smith design comes with a subtle hint to the Stormtroopers and the Superstar showcases robots R2-D2 and C-3PO, the favorite characters of artist Hiroki Tsukuda.
The adidas NMD_R1 has a sporty design with Darth Vader's face on the toe cap. Red details give the sneaker a chic look.
