Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance are a golden duo when it comes to trainer releases. In 2020, the NYC-based brand brought back the New Balance 550. The silhouette was first released in 1989, but did not immediately catch on with everyone. In 2020, Aimé Leon Dore came out with several colorways of the NB 550 model and since then, the trainer has been an integral part of today's sneaker scene.
After the great success of the return of the 550 model, Aimé Leon Dore came out with several colourways of the 650 model. This model appeared around the same time as the 550 model in the late 1980s and features a high collar. Now the two names come up with the 'White Pine' colorway.
The new Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 650R have a retro look. The design has a white upper made of leather. Green, blue or black details on the collar, tongue and heel give the look a fresh twist. The gum sole completes the trainer and gives all three colorways a retro twist.
