Rapper Pusha T is teaming up with adidas once again and has recently revealed the first images of the Supernova Cushion 7 'Thorn'. The two names have already collaborated in the past but took a break for four years. Now, the two are teaming up again and we can expect a 'Thorn' colorway on the Supernova silhouette in 2023.
Terrence LeVarr Thornton, better known as Pusha T, is a rapper and record executive from New York. The rapper recently released his album 'It's Almost Dry' and has worked with artists such as Kanye West, Jay-Z, Pharrell Williams, and Kid Cudi. The rapper has been working with adidas since 2014 and has now revealed the first images of the adidas Supernova Cushion 7 'Thorn'.
Like the artists Bad Bunny, Frank Ocean, Metro Boomin, and many more, Pusha T also performed at Coachella during the weekend of April 14th to 16th, 2023. During his performance, the rapper wore the unreleased adidas Supernova Cushion 7 'Thorn'. Shortly after his performance, he shared detailed photos of the sneaker.
The sneaker has a retro look. The Supernova Cushion 7 silhouette takes inspiration from adidas running shoes from the 2000s. The upper is made of mesh and has a light blue color. Dynamic overlays in white, silver, and black colors are throughout the silhouette.
The adidas logo is placed on the toe, and on the heel, we see 'Thorn' written with a symbol of a thorn underneath it. This detail most likely hints at the artist's upcoming music.
