Last month, Paris Fashion Week took place. Brands like Louis Vuitton, Comme des Garçons, and AWGE, A$AP Rocky's label, showed their collections for next season. A$AP Rocky's AWGE runway showed some designs in collaboration with PUMA in addition to his own collection.
A$AP Rocky x PUMA
PUMA and A$AP Rocky have been working together for some time, as has his girlfriend Rihanna, who is responsible for the FENTY line, but that aside. Earlier this year, the rapper, known for songs such as 'Praise The Lord', 'Sundress', and 'Everyday,' revealed that he is the new creative director of the PUMA Formula 1 line.
In addition to his work at PUMA, A$AP Rocky also has his own clothing label called AWGE. During Paris Fashion Week, the rapper made his red carpet debut, showing his own collection for the first time here with his new album 'DON'T BE DUMB' in the background. The runway also featured some PUMA silhouettes, including the PUMA Speedcat, Mostro, and Inhale.
The runway showcased a limited reissue of the 2000 OG PUMA Inhale shoe in a striking shade of red. The sneaker will also be seen already this fall in several colorways that feature some modifications and distressed details.
Also shown was the classic PUMA Speedcat, a sneaker that plays a major role in PUMA's racing heritage. The AWGE show also marked the return of the Mostro and Mostro 3.D sneakers, which made their debut during 'The Amazing Mostro Show' Presented by PUMA during NYFW in February.
Release
The PUMA Mostro in a black and white colorway drops at PUMA on July 13, 2024. The PUMA Inhale and Mostro 3.D will appear at PUMA in September 2024. Keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers news page for updates.
