Patta x Nike Air Max 1 'White' - The Second Wave

On September 11, 2022, sneaker event Mesh & Laces is coming to Berlin. During this event you can score the most exclusive and beloved sneakers. In collaboration with Mesh & Laces, Sneakerjagers is coming up with a special giveaway. Mesh & Laces is a sneaker and vintage event that previously took place in Hannover and Hamburg. Now the event is coming to Berlin for the second time and they are packing big for the upcoming edition.

During the event you can check out a lot of sneaker stands from resellers and shops like Overkill. Besides sneakers you can also find apparel and accessories from hyped brands and there are several vintage stalls. Mesh & Laces takes place in the Bikini Berlin shopping center. The Patta x Nike Air Max 1 'Pure Platinum' - The Next Wave has a release date. In recent weeks, we already saw the second sneaker from the Patta x Nike - The Next Wave collab pass by and now the AM1 has an official release date. The 'Pure Platinum' will be released on August 26, 2022 at 1pm sharp.

After the great success of the Patta x Nike 'The Wave' collaboration in 2021, the streetwear brand is releasing two new colorways of the Air Max 1 model in 2022. On October 8, 2021, the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 'Monarch' was released. This was the first of a series of four that were all released under the name 'The Wave'.

In 2022, a new colorway of the Air Max 1 surfaced, the 'Dark Russet'. Like the sneakers from the 'The Wave' collab, the new Air Max has again the wavy mudguard and was reminiscent of the 'Rush Maroon'. Under the name 'The Next Wave' Patta now comes out with a second colorway; the 'Pure Platinum'.

The 'Pure Platinum' has a white colorway. Like the previous colorways, this sneaker has a Metallic Silver upper. The upper is made of mesh and the overlays are made of leather. The 'Pure Platinum' also comes with a wavy mudguard, this one is white. A mini Swoosh is stitched on the mudguard.

The overlays across the upper are coloured off-white. The midsole has also been given a slightly yellowed look, which gives the Air Max design its retro appeal. The Swoosh on the mid panel colours light grey and matches the upper. The tongue features Nike and Patta branding.

The drop

The Patta x Nike Air Max 1 'Pure Platinum' - The Next Wave drops on Friday, August 26, 2022 at 1pm sharp. The sneaker also comes with a matching apparel collection. This will be in the colours of the Air Max as you can see below. Besides the online release, the sneaker can also be scored at Patta in-store.

The Patta x Nike Air Max 1 The Wave collab is getting a new colorway. The first images of the 'White' colorway were spotted in late June 2022 and now, about a week and a half later, Nike is showing the official images. The sneaker does not have an official release date yet. However, we can expect this colorway in 2022.

Patta and Nike came together in 2021 and released four colorways of the Air Max 1 under the name 'The Wave'. On October 8, 2021, the first colorway, the 'Monarch', was released. This pair was followed by the popular designs 'Noise Aqua', 'Rush Maroon' and 'Black'.

All four colorways had a wavy mudguard. This hints at the name "The Wave. Now, some six months after the initial release of the Patta x Nike AM1, the popular sneaker gets a 'White' colorway. This sneaker also features a wavy mudguard. The upper has a light grey colour and overlays have been given a white colour and are made of leather. The Swoosh colours light grey again and a mini Swoosh is placed on the nose, which also is held in grey. The midsole colours off-white and gives the sneaker a retro look.

The Air Max 1 model celebrates its 35th anniversary in 2022 so an additional colorway of one of the most well-known collaboration, sounds like a logical step.

The Patta x Nike Air Max 1 'White' does not yet have an official release date. However, we can expect to see this pair at Nike in the summer of 2022. Check out the official images below and keep an eye on our release calendar to stay up-to-date.

The release of the four different colorways of the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 'The Wave' series has already been a while ago. The kicks from this series were instantly recognizable by the wavy mudguard. The streets of Amsterdam were packed during this release and a lot of fans wanted a pair.

First came the 'Monarch' colorway, followed by the release of the 'Noise Aqua'. The last two colorways were the 'Rush Maroon' and 'Black'. Recently, the pair has been seen in a white and grey colour scheme.

The upper of this new colorway is made of mesh with leather. The mesh is found on the toe box and on the collar in a grey colour. This grey colour is reflected on the leather Swoosh on the side panel and on the mini Swoosh on the mudguard. The rest of the upper is also made of leather, but is in a different shade than the mudguard. The mudguard is super white, which makes the rest of the upper look more off-white.

The midsole of this sneaker is slightly yellowed, making the white wavy mudguard stand out even more. The outsole is also split between white and grey. As of yet, the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 in this colorway has only been spotted at Clint, known from Corteiz. Whether the pair will also get a release is not yet known.
