In December 2024, we saw the return of the Nike Air Zoom Spiridon OG 'Sport Red'. This was just the beginning of a new series, as only a few months later, Nike is set to re-release the Air Zoom Spiridon 'Metallic Silver'. This marks the first time since 1997 that this classic has made a comeback. Originally, the silhouette was a WMNS exclusive, but this time, the sneaker will be available in both unisex and men's sizes.
The design stays true to its roots, featuring an upper crafted from metallic silver synthetic leather and mesh. A light blue Swoosh on the side provides a subtle contrast to the silver, while a mini Swoosh on the toe adds a touch of sophistication.
Black detailing on the eyelets and the heel gives the shoe an extra edge. The white midsole and black rubber outsole complete the look.
This revival is part of Nike's 'Cult Classics' campaign, which brings back heritage designs from the past. The 'Metallic Silver' had already been spotted as part of the campaign, and now it’s official – the sneaker is making its return.
The Nike Air Zoom Spiridon 'Metallic Silver' will be available from 13th February 2025 at Nike and selected retailers.
