Nike gives the Air Max DN an upgrade and comes out with the DN8

In 2024, we saw the launch of the Air Max DN, a new sneaker design with innovative sole technology. Less than a year later now, here is the successor: the Air Max DN8, with additional Air units in the sole for a fresh, new look.

In October 2024, the first images of the Nike Air Max DN8 silhouette were released, worn by Javel Berlin, a creative in charge of marketing for Corteiz. Now, in November 2024, official retail images of a second colorway have been released, giving us a taste of what Air Max Month 2025 will bring us.

The Air Max DN8 builds on Nike's latest DN technology, which uses Dynamic Air. The upcoming silhouette retains the Dynamic Air tubes in the heel, but adds four additional tubes in the forefoot. With eight tubes - which the name DN8 refers to - air can move freely, providing improved suspension and comfort.

The design stands out for its red base, combined with a black sole and toebox. In addition, the upper features the recognisable ‘tidal wave’ motif, which blends nicely with the Air bubbles in the sole. This reminds us of the Air Max 96, which used the same pattern.

The new Air Max is expected to be released around Air Max Month, with a release on 6 March 2025. Check out images of the sneaker below and keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers release calendar for updates.
