Nike is bringing back another OG sneaker: the 2006 PlayStation x Nike Air Force 1. Recently, the first rumors about expected rereleases of the Undefeated x Air Jordan 4 and the Wu-Tang Clan x Nike Dunk High were circulating. The PlayStation x Nike Air Force 1 is next in line and is expected in 2025.
Whether it is an attempt to win back the hearts of sneaker lovers or part of a larger marketing plan; Nike seems to be fully committed to bringing back sneaker grails. Recent releases like the HUF x Nike Air Max 1 and Nike Air Safari have appeared, and a slew of comebacks are planned for the coming months as well.
One of them is the PlayStation x Nike Air Force 1, a sneaker originally gifted to several Sony employees. The sneaker celebrated the release of the PlayStation 3 console. Only 150 pairs of the sneaker were said to be available. One of those ended up with Kobe Bryant.
Since its 2006 release, PlayStation has released numerous sneakers with Nike and even one with Travis Scott. Now it looks like the PlayStation Air Force 1 will return. It is not yet known exactly when the sneaker will be released.
