Every two weeks, Tim Beumers and Tommy Triggah come up with a new episode of De Grote Tim & Tom Sneaker Show. In the show, the duo discusses the latest news from the sneaker world. From anticipated releases, to personal experiences and anecdotes – all in one show. Each episode features a new guest who accompanies the duo.
Pirri
In the next episode, the men from Pirri (@pirri) are guests. Teun van Wijk and Floris Pierik took over Rotterdam store Harlem82 in 2021 and introduced Pirri, a sneaker store focusing on exclusive ones. Quotes like "Hey Pirri, got any pattas?" quickly went viral and artists like ADF Samski, brother Ronnie Flex and Sor could soon be spotted in the store.
Pirri is known for actions that are a tad rebellious in nature. Viral clips in which Air Jordan 1 Mid's were thrown into the water quickly created a stir and invited talk about Pirri. In no time, the fame surrounding the store grew. In late September 2023, Pirri opened a second store at 262b Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal in Amsterdam.
The duo values the community around sneakers, with a focus on skate culture. In addition to various contests and treasure hunts, Pirri recently hosted skate and water ski events. The store has its own merchandise line. In the episode, Teun and Floris talk about the opening of their second store, their favorite releases, and Pirri's most controversial moments.
