Bricks & Wood and New Balance are teaming up once again for a new collaboration: the 'A Different Bounce' collection. This time, the LA-based brand is stepping into the world of performance basketball sneakers for the first time. The collection, officially launching during NBA All-Star Weekend 2025, features two models: the Fresh Foam BB v3 and the New Balance 1000.
With this collab, Bricks & Wood and New Balance aim to showcase how basketball and culture are deeply connected. It’s not just about the sport—it’s also about the lifestyle and business surrounding it. Kacey Lynch, founder of Bricks & Wood, understands this like no other. Through his signature storytelling, he brings this vision to life, merging performance and street style.
The first design, the Fresh Foam BB v3, is built for top performance on the court. With its striking gold color, black details, and reflective accents, it’s a sneaker that stands out both in function and style.
The New Balance 1000, on the other hand, is a modern twist on a classic Y2K runner, designed more for lifestyle wear. Its black base, paired with the same gold and reflective accents as the BB v3, creates a bold look.
What makes this release even more special is the presence of artist Davion Cervantes in the campaign. A childhood friend of Kacey Lynch, he embodies the basketball culture of South Central LA. This personal element adds even more depth and authenticity to the collection.
