New Balance brings the 'Navy/Castlerock' colorway to the 990v2 and 990v3. The New Balance 'MADE In USA' line has already received a slew of unique releases in 2022 and the next two pairs fit right in with this list. The 990v2 and 990v3 will be released on August 25, 2022. Since Teddy Santis, founder Aimé Leon Dore, was appointed creative director of the MADE In USA line at New Balance, the 990 releases have been going strong. Santis is known for his chic designs and brings them back to New Balance silhouettes time and time again.
Founded in 1982, the New Balance 990 line celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2022. New Balance is celebrating this with several releases, including the 'Navy/Castlerock' colorway of the 990v2 and 990v3. Both sneakers have a retro look. The combination of the materials suede, leather and mesh gives the sneakers a luxurious look.
The New Balance 990v2 'Navy/Castlerock' has a light blue upper, this one made of mesh. Navy-blue, suede overlays are placed all over the silhouette. The tongue colors grey and is also made of mesh. On the tongue, 990 New Balance is stitched in white. On the heel, the USA logo appears.
The New Balance 990v3 'Navy/Castlerock' combines the same colors as the 990v2, including a light blue coloring on the upper and dark blue overlays. The tongue has received the familiar diamond pattern. On the center panel appears the N logo, it colors here, as with the 990v2, silver.
