ASICS teams up with Nanushka, a fashion label based in Budapest, Hungary. The label is known for its timeless designs, with a focus on craftsmanship. To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Nanushka presents two exclusive colorways of the popular GEL-KINETIC FLUENT silhouette, featuring elegant embroidered details.
Nanushka's first sneaker collab
For those who are not yet familiar with Nanushka, here’s a brief introduction. Exactly 20 years ago, designer Sandra Sándor founded the label. With Nanushka, Sándor focuses on craftsmanship, detail, and sustainability, creating elegant, modern pieces that blend traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design.
For its first-ever sneaker collaboration, Nanushka teams up with ASICS to unveil two colorways of the GEL-KINETIC FLUENT. The sneaker comes in beige and black colorways, both inspired by natural elements. The collaboration bridges Nanushka's focus on detail and craftsmanship with the technical features of ASICS.
“Collaborating with ASICS for Nanushka’s first sneaker felt instinctive, given our shared emphasis on movement and design integrity", Sándor said. "ASICS has always been my go-to for sneakers that prioritize movement, aligning perfectly with my personal design ethos."
The sneaker features a neoprene liner sock that hugs the foot. The traditional lacing system is replaced by a hybrid bungee closure, enhancing the technical look. Amber-colored details and embroidered stitching, in turn, serve as references to Nanushka's signature style.

'A custom Crafts for Mind'
With the release, the duo also aims to give back to the community. The Nanushka x ASICS 'A Custom Crafts for Mind' collab supports ASICS' mental health initiative, Crafts for Mind, through Mind Over Mountains, an organization that promotes mental health through nature.
The Nanushka x ASICS GEL-KINETIC FLUENT collab drops on March 25, 2025, at 1:00 PM and will be available at Nanushka. It is still unclear whether the release will also appear at ASICS.
