London-based label Kiko Kostadinov is once again teaming up with ASICS. After several successful collaborations, the duo is now releasing two colorways of the ASICS GT-2160. The sneaker will drop in a dark blue and a burgundy colorway in late 2024.
Kiko Kostadinov was founded in 2015 by a Bulgarian designer and is named after himself. His designs are colorful and abstract, something Kostadinov also reflects in his collaborations with ASICS. Having collaborated on silhouettes such as the ASICS GEL-TEREMOA and UB3-S GEL-Nimbus 9, they now feature the UB6-S GT-2160.
The ASICS UB6-S GT-2160 is a variant of the GT-2160 with premium updates. The sneaker comes with enlarged tabs on the tongue and an additional overlay at the heel. The ASICS UB6-S GT-2160 has a sporty design with a chunky sole. The well-known ASICS logo appears on the center panel.
The first colorway, the 'Azure,' uses a striking shade of blue. White and gold details are placed across the silhouette. The 'Brown Storm' colorway has a more autumnal look and uses red and cream accents. The model type is placed on the heel.
Both the Kiko Kostadinov x ASICS UB6-S GT-2160 'Azure' and 'Brown Strom' do not yet have an official release date. However, we can expect the collab in 2024. Check out the first images of the sneakers below and keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers release page for updates.
