KARHU joins forces with zomer, the creative project of Dutch fashion designers Danial Aitouganov and stylist Imruh Asha. Their third show will shine at the upcoming Paris Fashion Week, though the question remains whether it can surpass the striking campaign.
For their first sneaker, zomer, the semifinalist of this year’s LVMH Prize, presents three versions of the KARHU Mestari Kesä, each set to drop on April 11, 2025.
KARHU and zomer
The Mestari Kesä is based on a classic KARHU model but receives a bold new twist. The two-tone design symbolizes contrast and balance. With unique materials, shapes, colors, and details, zomer breaks design rules in this collaboration, keeping craftsmanship at the core.

Photographer Dan Tobin Smith captures this concept with technical precision. The campaign features professional dancers wearing (almost) nothing but sneakers, twisting and moving their bodies into fleeting shapes. The photos freeze the motion while keeping the energy palpable.

The bodies twist and contort into mandala-like figures, almost unrecognizable as human. Only the sneakers reveal where a body begins or ends. A bizarre yet beautiful campaign that perfectly aligns with the vision of both brands.
The collab drops on April 11, 2025, at KARHU. Keep an eye on the Sneakerjagers news page for more releases like this.
