ASICS and JJJJound are back with a new collaboration. After the success of the GEL-Kayano 14 in 2022, the brands have teamed up again in 2024, this time for the GT-2160. This model exudes the early 2000s runner vibe while staying true to JJJJound's minimalist style. The collab comes with two new colourways, one in black and one in white with neon accents.
The JJJJound x ASICS GT-2160s feature a wide mesh upper, providing an airy and lightweight feel. You will also see carbon fibre-like overlays that give the trainer a premium look and feel. The white pair features neon highlights around the tongue and heel, providing a fresh and eye-catching touch. The black variant, on the other hand, remains very clean and classic with silver details.
The GT-2160 silhouette looks just a little more modern and sleek than the GEL-Kayano 14, with lines in the midsole creating a sleek look. ASICS has bet heavily on this model lately with several collaborations, including with Kiko Kostadinov and Above the Clouds, and now again with JJJJound.
