After the first images of the Futura x Salehe Bembury Crocs Pollex Clog appeared recently, we now see a second Crocs silhouette that will receive the work of the American graffiti artist. On 14 March 2024, the Futura Laboratories x Crocs Classic Clog will drop in 'Green Ivy' and 'Pearl White' colorways.
Futura, also known as Futura2000, is a graffiti artist from New York. The artist is known for his colourful works that have also recently been featured in collaborations with Supreme and Nike. Futura started creating graffiti art in Brooklyn underground stations in the 1970s and 1980s. Later, his work also appeared in galleries alongside names such as Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring.
In 1997, Futura came up with Futura Laboratories, a design firm that continues to stand out in colourful and progressive designs every collection. This can also be seen on the Crocs Classic Clog, which comes in two, unique colorways. The Classic Clog in the colours 'Green Ivy' and 'Pearl White' are a perfect translation of Futura's work.
Both models use graffiti artwork characteristic of the New York artist. The Crocs also comes with 'Pointman' Jibbitz charms in the shape of Futura's iconic character. The strap features the Futura Laboratories logo. The 'Green Ivy' has a very colourful look, compared to the somewhat subdued 'Pearl White' variant.
The Futura Laboratories x Crocs Classic Clog 'Green Ivy' and 'Pearl White' will drop on 14 March 2024. Check out the official images from the collaboration below, as well as an overview of all retailers. Keep an eye on our sneaker news for more insights around Crocs.
