Converse' s origins in skateboard culture go back almost 75 years to the early days of the sport. 'Regular' Converse shoes soon became popular in skate and street culture, which led to the creation of Converse CONS. To this day, the brand remains true to celebrating the self-expression of skateboarding, both on and off the board.
Converse CONS
Converse believes skateboarding is a breeding ground for creativity. It is a place where people can think differently, embrace diversity, push boundaries and produce new ideas. This skate mentality inspires the brand's latest campaign, "We Create Next". For this campaign, Converse is once again bringing together emerging and established talent from around the world.
In the 1990s, shoes like the One Star and the low-top All Star were already immensely popular among skaters. So, in 2009, Converse decided to capitalise on this popularity with CONS by releasing sturdier, skate-ready versions of existing models and launching its own skate team.
If you're looking for timeless, no-nonsense skate shoes and contemporary performance, it's definitely worth checking out CONS 's collection!
The campaign highlights a diverse range of individuals, including CONS riders such as Louie Lopez, Alexis Sablone, Evan Mock, Zion Effs, Ariana Spencer and Rafaela Costa, in addition to community members such as Andy Li, Kien Caples, Dede Lovelace, Zineb Koutten, Yubia and long-time creative partner Tyler, The Creator.
We Create Next is the latest manifestation of how Converse aims to nurture and support the passions of its athletes and community through creative opportunities and collaboration.
