Sneaker boutique Concepts and Nike have joined forces again to bring out two colorways of the Air Max 1. The model will celebrate its 35th anniversary in 2022. Check out the first images from this collab here.
The Nike Air Max 1 will drop in two special colorways. The first pair has a striking look and combines different elements and patterns. The trainer takes inspiration from the 70s and has a colourful look. For example, the design combines denim with paisley prints.
On this pair, different materials are used. The upper of the trainer is made of denim and has a light blue colour. The mudguard is purple and has a paisley print. On the heel, the paisley print comes back and is in green. On the tongue, you can find a velvet material in red and the overlay at the lace-up has an animal print.
The second colorway also features a denim upper and has a camo print at the mudguard. The collar is made of a brown leather. This gives the sneaker a bold look. The paisley print also appears on this version and the Swoosh has a floral print. In this collab, designer Deon Point shows again that he is not afraid to make bold choices.
The Concepts x Nike Air Max 1 celebrates the 35th Anniversary of the AM 1 model. The sneaker was first released in 1987 and was designed by non other than Tinker Hatfield. Since then, the silhouette became a legend with a lot of brilliant designs.
The new Concepts x Nike Air Max 1s are a nice addition to that. Unfortunately they do not yet have an official release date. However, we can expect the sneakers in 2022.
