The Japanese label Comme des Garçons has a busy year ahead. During Paris Fashion Week, which took place last week, the brand showcased its upcoming collaborations for 2025. The showroom featured collaborations with brands such as Nike, New Balance, ASICS, and KIDS LOVE GAITE.
Paris Fashion Week FW25
Every year, at the end of January, the French capital is focused on fashion. During Paris Fashion Week, major brands reveal their upcoming collections through showrooms and runways. Comme des Garçons also unveiled some collaborations we can expect in the upcoming season.
CdG x Nike
The first silhouette that caught our attention was the Nike Rejuven8, a sneaker introduced during the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The model has a streamlined design with Flyknit webbing throughout. It will be available in both a black and white colorway.
Another silhouette revealed in collaboration with Nike was the Field General 82, which made its comeback last year. The silhouette arrives in a black colorway with white Swooshes and the CdG logo throughout the design. A classic model with a striking colorway.
CdG x New Balance
New Balance also has some releases with CdG in the pipeline, with the 509 model taking center stage. The sneaker is reminiscent of the currently popular 740 silhouette but features a slightly sleeker design. The pair will be available in two leather colorways: white and grey.
CdG x ASICS en KIDS LOVE GAITE
We also see the ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 in an all-white colorway, featuring leather overlays. Lastly, there’s an eccentric collaboration with the Korean label KIDS LOVE GAITE, showcasing a boot with a bent sole at a 90-degree angle. Whether the shoe can actually be worn is still uncertain, but it is definitely unique.
It is not yet known when the Comme des Garçons collaborations will be released, but we can most likely expect the models around the fall of 2025.
