Update April 4, 2025 – It took a while, but this weekend we’ll finally see the release of the BAPE x adidas Originals Superstar pack. The first images of the sneaker appeared last summer and revealed a blue and white colorway of the Superstar.
The sneakers and matching apparel will be available at adidas and selected retailers on April 5, 2025.
This isn’t the first time BAPE and adidas have collaborated on the Superstar. Back in 2003, the duo unveiled the ‘Super Ape Star’, a sneaker covered head to toe in BAPE’s iconic ABC camo. Now, more than twenty years later, the two brands celebrate their lasting influence on streetwear with a new collection.
The SSTR V BAPE is a revamped Superstar featuring BAPE’s signature ABC SOLID CAMO, gold accents, and combined branding. The sneaker comes in the 'Blue' and 'Cloud White' colorways and will even be available in kids' sizes.
The collection also includes two eye-catching Firebird tracksuits in the collaboration’s signature colors, an exclusive Trefoil shark hoodie, and a white co-branded T-shirt. Accessories include a cap, a camo side bag, and a pair of socks.

BAPE and adidas are releasing new Superstar colorways
Original post: July 7, 2024 -A Bathing Ape (BAPE) and adidas are teaming up once again to give the iconic adidas Superstar a fresh and modern look. It's expected that two new colorways of this silhouette will drop in March 2025. One will be in white with black, and the other in blue with white.
Both designs of the BAPE x adidas Superstar feature a premium leather upper with BAPE's signature camouflage pattern pressed onto the leather. A playful asymmetrical design sets this collaboration apart from previous drops: the left shoe showcases the famous adidas Three Stripes, while the right shoe features BAPE's iconic shooting star logo. This gives the classic Superstar silhouette a unique twist.
Additionally, the collaboration is highlighted by gold BAPE and adidas branding on the tongue and heel tabs. The sneakers are completed with a white rubber shell-toe and matching midsole. BAPE's camouflage pattern extends onto the insoles, adding a subtle yet striking detail.
