The Amsterdam-based brand Lack of Guidance, known for its football-inspired streetwear, has announced a special collaboration with the Japanese sports brand ASICS. Together, they’ve given the GEL Quantum™ 360 VIII a unique look.
And this is not just any release – it's Lack of Guidance's very first sneaker, making it even more special. The brand, which has been active since 2016, is known for its combination of high-end fashion with football culture.
The inspiration for this sneaker comes from the Japanese goalkeeper shirt from 1998, a design that helped establish ASICS' name in the football world. The upper of the sneaker is made of striking orange mesh, directly referencing the fiery hues of the World Cup kit.
The primarily black and orange color palette is accented by silver details. This collaboration highlights Lack of Guidance's creative vision: redefining classic sportswear through a modern lens.

The ASICS GEL Quantum™ 360 VIII by Lack of Guidance will be available exclusively from January 31, 2025, through Lack of Guidance's online store and their flagship store on the Wallen in Amsterdam. Starting February 7, 2025, the collaboration will also be available worldwide at selected retailers.
