Wales Bonner x adidas Adios Neftenga 'Light Yellow'

adidas and Wales Bonner join forces once again for the release of the Adizero Adios Neftenga. This silhouette first came into the spotlight when Ethiopian marathon runner Haile Gebrselassie wore it at the 2008 Berlin Marathon, where he set a world record with a time of 2:03:59.

Now in 2024, more than a decade later, the Adios Neftenga returns, this time with a unique retro look thanks to British designer Grace Wales Bonner.

Known for her successful collaborations with adidas, including the popular Samba, Wales Bonner now focuses on the Adios Neftenga. This model with a rich sports history retains many of its original features.

The design stays true to the original details, such as the bright yellow upper and signature black Three Stripes on the sides, combined with silver details around the heel. The subtle co-branding on the tongue and insoles give the design a modern twist.
