Lacoste

Introducing Lacoste

Legendary French tennis player René Lacoste, nicknamed 'The Crocodile' due to his tenacity on court (and an unusual bet), founded Lacoste in 1933. He revolutionised the courts with a flexible, lightweight cotton polo shirt and his brand became the first to feature a logo on its clothing: the iconic Lacoste Crocodile.
Since its founding, the brand has grown in leaps and bounds, now offering everything from fragrances to sunglasses to watches and accessories.
Unbelievably, their first footwear wasn't manufactured until 1991!
