The UNION x Nike Dunk Low 'Court Purple' (DJ9649-500) is one of two sneakers from the 'Passport Pack'. Chris Gibbs and his team took their inspiration for this Nike Dunk Low from Japanese shoes from the 90s. UNION is now updating their favourite Dunk, which is also a tribute to three cities, namely New York City, Los Angeles and Tokyo.
The sneaker consists of a combination of 'Court Purple' and 'White' ripstop under and over-lays that are linked with unfinished 'Yellow' stitching. The sneaker is further decked out with a 'Court Purple' lining and outsole. The Union LA Frontman logo button on the side and the 'UN|LA' label on the back panel provide the finishing touch. It gives a new twist to the iconic Nike Dunk Low that has been an inspiration to Chris in the past, and the sneaker certainly lives up to the expectations of this special collaboration between UNION and Nike.
