The Tom Sachs x Nike General Purpose Shoe 'Archive' has been given a release date. The first release of the model was very popular. The new colorway features a yellow colour scheme.

The more exclusive the shoe, the more most sneakerheads want the release. This is not the case with this collaboration. Tom Sachs will be releasing the General Purpose Shoe multiple times and the 'Archive' colorway will be added in early September.

The upper of the sneaker is made of mesh and suede. With the new colour scheme, these elements have been given a mustard yellow colour. Because of this, this shoe stands out a bit more compared to its predecessor.

The Swoosh on the side of the shoe is in white. The tongue and laces have also been given a light colour. The co-branding is clearly visible on the heel tab and on the insole.

The official images of the Tom Sachs x Nike General Purpose Shoe in 'Dark Sulfur' have been released. Earlier in June 2022, the shoe was released in a lighter colourway. The sneaker was only available through Tom Sachs' website through a raffle. Don't be sad if you missed out then, in August the original colorway will be re-released and a new colour scheme is coming.

The simplicity of this sneaker is its first priority. The upper is made of different materials that can withstand long-term use. The base of the upper, for example, is made of a type of mesh. On the overlays, suede is used. This material does not wear out as quickly as leather.

Almost every element of the upper has been given an ochre colour, except for the Swoosh, tongue, laces and pull tab. On the Swoosh, the colour is white. The pull loop and the tongue loop are orange, which is immediately noticeable in contrast to the other colours. The tongue, laces and lining are beige.

Like the lining, the midsole is also in beige and the outsole is black. On the heel and insole are 'Nike' and 'Nikecraft' in a handwritten font. This style is carried over to the shoe box where the Tom Sachs branding is evident.
