The sneaker was released on January 21, 2022 exclusively by New Jersey-based sneaker boutique Packer. Packer Shoes was founded by Max Packer back in 1907 and is still owned by the Packer family. According to Packer, the design of the Reebok Answer 4 embodies the peak of Allen Iverson's NBA career and cultural influence. The design is also an ode to the famous Prada America's Cup sneaker. A very popular luxury sneaker during Allen's heyday.
The upper of the shoe comes mainly in a premium blue leather with grey leather as contrasting colour. Besides that, we also see red accents in the design. This typical colour scheme is also characteristic for the previously mentioned Prada America's Cup sneaker.
