Release reminder: Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid 'Varsity Maize'
Off-White and Nike continue to surprise us with new collaborations. Just recently, the duo presented several colorways of the Air Force 1 Mid. One of them is based on an earlier colorway from 2001 worn by former NBA player Rasheed Wallace. The Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid 'Varsity Maize' will be released on 9 November 2023.
The Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid comes in the familiar colour 'Varsity Maize'. As with the previous pairs, the shoe is largely made of leather, with the exception of the mesh on the tongue. The 'Varsity Maize' colour appears on the overlays, laces, heels and pull tabs.
White covers the base and midsole of the design. The signature Off-White x Nike logo is featured in black on the medial side and Abloh's well-known logo also appears on the insole of the shoe.
The design features the recognisable ribbed midsole, the visible Air Unit and a Swoosh with eye-catching stitching. An embroidered grim reaper on the side is another highlight. Additional branding can be seen on the insole and yellow spikes are attached to the rubber outsole.
The Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Mid 'Varsity Maize' will release on 9 November 2023 at 9am sharp at various retailers.
