The 'Bacon' colorway is making a comeback on the Nike Dunk Low WMNS
After Nike previously re-released the iconic 2004 Nike Air Max 90 'Bacon' in 2021, the colorway once again makes its return. Indeed, Nike is applying the much-loved 'bacon' colour scheme to the familiar Dunk Low silhouette. You can read everything you need to know about the Nike Dunk Low WMNS 'Bacon' release below!
The Bacon colorway thus has its origins in the legendary 2004 collaboration with Dave Ortiz and DQM. The idea behind this unique colorway came from the simple yet effective concept of a pack of bacon as inspiration. By translating the characteristic red, brown and pink hues of pork into the silhouette, the perfect colour-blocking for the Air Max 90 was quickly created.
The exclusive women's Nike Dunk Low is crafted from white tumbled leather, which contrasts strikingly with vibrant red suede overlays. Furthermore, you will find a subtle speckled pink touch on the Swooshes on the sides, the airy mesh tongue and the Nike logo embossed on the heel.
In addition, brown accents can be seen on the suede heel and the stitched brand label on the tongue. Additional colour elements adorn the red insoles and brown lining. Finally, the sneaker rests on a white midsole and a dark brown outsole, while the brown laces are the finishing touch for a fresh and detailed finish.
During the 2023 holiday season, the Nike Dunk Low 'Bacon' will be available. You can then find it at selected retailers and Nike itself, both physically and online. Stay tuned with the Sneakerjagers release calendar to make sure you don't miss this highly anticipated release!
