To celebrate its 35th birthday, Nike Air Max 1 got a summer makeover in 2022 with the ‘Terrycloth’ colorway. The shoe has evolved from a running shoe into a cultural icon praised in hip-hop culture for its avant-garde design and eye-catching colors. 

The Nike Air Max 1 ‘Terrycloth’ is distinguished by its topographic terrycloth construction, which is entirely covered in an electric tennis ball hue and makes an eye-catching statement. A pearl-like pattern, Swoosh inserts in a barely-volt tint, and bright leather overlays add depth and complexity to the design.  The shoe has a consistent appearance thanks to its bright Air supports and rubber outsoles.
